Access All Areas is the brainchild of Timothy Harris, owner of FINE LINE DESIGN. He designed and produced the official employee/guest tour laminates for the Grateful Dead for a period of 10 years. Usually called "laminates" because these "limited edition miniature posters" were encased in plastic overlay. The coolest passes to have, of course, were these that gave access to "all areas" – reserved for senior concert staff and families or close friends of the band members. These miniature gems were not only art, they were POWER. There are 25 designs in all. Since they are rarely seen by folks other than those who attended the shows as employees or guests of the Grateful Dead, we are posting all of them because we think they are too good not to. Plus, we still have limited quantities of the ACCESS ALL AREAS book and some T-shirts available for retail or wholesale.

Fine Line Design has provided art direction, design, illustration and production since 1979. Not only for the entertainment industry but also for local companies.
